The game MAYA has tried to create threefold path of life in the game. It is a board game inspired from Snakes & Ladders, where each block of the board carries either a Virtue (similar to a ladder), or a Vice (similar to a Snake) or some Natural instinctive quality. Although the game carries educational value, however it has introduced many innovative ways in board games, particularly the Dice Round.
The innovative Dice in the game always makes a player feel that he can control the game, however that is not easy. Some of the objectives of the game are challenging and is as follows:
1. Player should be able to finish the game in shortest possible path - that is 5 chances
2. Player should not land either in vice or virtue and finish the game, and so on..
Player will also get to use certain Power Ups that will help him/her in reaching the destination faster and for prevention from the opponent.
Breaking the traditional Snake and Ladder concept, the game ends not at 100, but at 68 which if the user crosses will have to come back into game cycle to play again.
